I love taking my kids to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin and going on a hay ride with them. We also love the cool nights for a campfire and you can’t have a campfire with out roasting marshmallows!!

Our favorite is a family outing to the pumpkin patch. Then we return home and eat homemade chili and carve our pumpkins together.

Going to the local pumpkin patch. Spend a Sunday afternoon there picking pumpkins, playing in the silos, going on a hayride and taking lots of great pictures.

The effect of going from light to dark colors is called "ombre." It looks great and is super easy! You can apply the ombre effect to many pieces of pottery, and you can use all kinds of colors (we have so many different shades of pink in our studios, it's not even funny)! My favorite alternate title for this video blog is: Four Shades of Purple!
