Love the video, Erin. Makes me want to go out and paint. ALL of my recipes need a spoon rest but the most messy recipe would be my simple oatmeal.

I ALWAYS need a spoon rest when I make Chili!! I cook it slowly all day, and stir it on a regular basis, so I keep a small saucer on the stove to catch the mess….a spoon rest would be absolutely wonderful!! thanks so much for the opportunity to win it!!!

I use a spoon rest for a sorts of things pastas, anything that has grease. My husband is always making a mess in the kitchen and I can definitely use something to help keep it contained. Love the ideas and can’t wait for our next trip to make more pottery.

Can you paint the under the sticker?

Hi Amy! Initially, you put the stickers down first and then paint over them. When the stickers are dry, we peel them off and they leave behind the bare bisque. Do nothing and your lettering will turn out shiny white after glazing and firing. However, once you take the stickers off, you can paint the lettering left behind any color you want! Does that answer your question?

The effect of going from light to dark colors is called "ombre." It looks great and is super easy! You can apply the ombre effect to many pieces of pottery, and you can use all kinds of colors (we have so many different shades of pink in our studios, it's not even funny)! My favorite alternate title for this video blog is: Four Shades of Purple!
